So here’s the thing. We were always happy with the produce and especially the service from the team at Compton’s. Always fresh, pricing reasonable, and excellent variety. Everything you could hope for in a local market. Add in the amazing people that work there, always helpful and smiling, and you are bound to have good experiences every time you stop in.

Then they changed the game. A curveball out of nowhere that I wasn’t expecting.

Pumpkin Pie

Hands down the best I have had as long as I can remember, and I have partaken in more than a few pies over the years. One pie turned into repeat purchases almost to the point on being uncomfortable going in every few days.

Then yet another joyous unexpected treat. Apple crumble, chocolate pie, lemon, apple, banana cream…..all added to to the daily lineup of products. More variety than I could have hoped for and still maintaining the quality that we expected.

They do it right. In fact they did it so right that we bought far more pie than we should have this fall. The reality is that we will continue to buy more pie than we should because they are amazing.

It begs the question, if you haven’t visited them yet and purchased pie, why not? What happened to you that you don’t want to experience joy? You really deserve to enjoy these products, and deserve to have nice things in life.
