HY-CROFT FARMS

Rethinking Food

Compton’s is a family-owned farm that has been part of the Summerside community since 1957. We grow the freshest strawberries, sweet corn, mixed vegetables, pumpkins, wheat, and straw. Our farm offers U-Pick Berry Patches, corn mazes, and a roadside stand to create a transparent and educational experience for our customers. We are dedicated to quality, sustainability, and the tradition of family farming.

Mission

Our goal is to provide our community with locally grown, fresh produce that reflects the taste and tradition of Prince Edward Island. We not only grow crops but also build strong connections with our customers by offering an immersive farm experience. By welcoming the public, we aim to teach and inspire, promoting a deeper understanding of food sources and the importance of supporting local agriculture. Comptons represent more than just food; we embody a way of life that values hard work, integrity, and the joy of sharing the harvest with those around us.

Vision

Our goal is to keep growing Compton’s as a vital part of local farming and community involvement. We see a future where our farm not only provides great produce but also offers education, sustainability, and community activities. By improving our farming methods and expanding what we offer, we aim to meet our customers’ changing needs while staying true to our roots. Compton’s is committed to leading in sustainable farming, so we can keep providing healthy, locally-grown food for years to come.
